Skolar works with senior managers preparing for their first executive appointment. This is the point where technical credibility stops being enough and commercial fluency, negotiating skill, and strategic vocabulary start to determine whether the next promotion happens.
- Financial Acumen, for managers without a formal finance background
- Executive Negotiation, for those negotiating commercially for the first time
- Decision Intelligence, for managers taking on genuine accountability
- Strategic Leadership, for those already identified as executive successors
Nothing assumed, nothing simplified
Our foundation and advanced programmes assume no prior training in the subject. They also refuse to simplify past the point of usefulness. A manager who completes Financial Acumen can read a set of accounts and ask a finance director a question worth answering.
Study that fits a working week
Most programmes at this level are delivered part-time or online, structured so that participants can continue in demanding roles. Weekly live sessions are recorded for those in other time zones.
Practical from the first session
Teaching is built around work participants can apply immediately. Negotiation students prepare a live negotiation. Finance students work through a real company's published accounts.
A route into the executive programmes
Many participants progress from a foundation or advanced course into Strategic Leadership once they hold enterprise-wide responsibility. Faculty advise on sequencing during the programme.
