Skolar teaches six programmes across three areas: Strategic Leadership and Leading Transformation in leadership and strategy; Executive Negotiation and Financial Acumen in commercial skills; and Board Readiness and Decision Intelligence in governance and judgement. The academy teaches from Vienna, Zurich, and Copenhagen and admits participants from across Europe and internationally.

Programme length varies by format. Executive programmes run 12 to 16 weeks part-time with residential blocks. Advanced online programmes run 8 to 10 weeks part-time. Intensives run 3 to 5 consecutive days. Part-time programmes require roughly six hours a week, including live sessions. We publish the full time commitment for each programme before you apply.

Every application begins with a written submission, followed by a conversation with the faculty member who leads the programme. The conversation covers what you are trying to change, what you are currently getting wrong, and whether the timing is right. We then confirm a place or suggest a different programme. Fees are settled before the cohort forms.

Yes. Skolar teaches from campuses in Vienna, Zurich, and Copenhagen and admits participants from across Europe and beyond. Online programmes carry no location requirement. Programmes with residential blocks require attendance in person, and we publish those dates at least six months ahead so participants can plan travel.

Every programme moves through the same six stages: application and faculty conversation, cohort formation, foundational modules, live teaching blocks, capstone work, and a six-week follow-up review. Each stage concludes with individual faculty feedback. The full structure is set out in the programme handbook, shared with every participant at admission.

Yes. Corporate cohorts form a significant part of our work. We run existing programmes for a single organisation's leadership team, and we design bespoke cohorts where the organisation has a specific challenge. Content, cases, and capstone work are adapted to the business, and we agree confidentiality terms covering anything discussed in the room.

Skolar teaches experienced leaders, typically from senior manager level through to chief executive and board director. Our foundation programmes suit senior managers preparing for their first executive role. Advanced and executive programmes assume real accountability and are less useful to those who do not yet hold it. We are selective about applicants earlier in their careers and admit them only where the role they are about to take justifies it.
